Hello Friends,
Let us begin by thanking you for the uplifting prayers. Today has been a total rollercoaster, but we made it. As you know dad started out in CCU due to the complications from the liver biopsy. They continued to monitor his blood pressure and fortunately by 3 pm he was back in a room-out of CCU! Praise the Lord!
If you will also recall, we were assured we would know the results of the CAT scan and the liver biopsy today…NO results until Monday. Dad has been so patient and such a trooper. This is where your prayers have helped us all. Instead of crying, we have just laughed and rolled with the punches. The nursing staff was thrilled to have dad back on the 7th floor…yes..7th and he was also in room 7 in CCU…We like that perfect number!
So, we are there for the weekend, no tests scheduled, just recovery time from the liver biopsy soreness, still watching the clots and blood pressure and hanging out.
Dad is in good spirits and ready to watch football all weekend. He loves reading your comments and sends his thanks to everyone. Hopefully soon, he will be home updating his own blog.
Oh yeah, Dad is now in room 7143 at Erlanger.

Love and Thanks,
The Family

Harry, Barb & family:
We have been keeping up every day - can hardly wait to read your post each evening and check several times during the day. What a blessing to be able to do this!!
Soo sorry that you are going through this extremely tough time and pray for a miracle. Missed not having enough time for a good chat at our reunion last month - but it was good to see you both.
You will remain in our hearts and daily prayers.
Love to all,
Betty L. & Harold Blanton

Hi Harry and family,

I know you will have a good time with the ballgames. Hey, what happened to UT? That should be be good for a weekend discussion.

It is still warm here--I had windows open last evening and it was 78 inside. It has not rained since February, and the rain usually is the start of cooler weather, so I am happy with warm and sunny.

So, I will send you warm and sunny wishes for a good weekend and I hope your ballgames are good ones!

Love from Brenda

Hi Elmore family,
What a wonderful relief and good news to read your update on Friday. He is a fighter and if anyone can come through ALL of this, he can. Just keep up the laughter and postive thoughts. Thinking and praying for all of you.
the only way I can get though this blog is putting in anonymous.
Seems that is happening to other people too.

Sweet Harry and Barb,
We appreciate your blog and we keep up with your progress. We requested prayer for you in church Wednesday night. We wanted to come and see you Thursday but our beautiful three and a half granddaughter fell in day care and knocked out her two front teeth. We hold you close in our hearts and prayers. We love you dearly,
Bob and Caroline Phillips

Hi Harry and Barbara,
I am late in catching up with your events today. What a blessing you are in your own room; one step closer to home. I spent my day with a friends mom so she could take her dad out for the day. Had time to finish reading a book, so it was really a pretty relaxing day. Texas and Oklahoma were just starting their game when I left.
Keep up your good spirit, you remain in my prayers.
Love ya'll (or is it y'all?) :))
Kathy
