Hello Friends,
Thank you for the continued prayers and support-we continue to be uplifted and encouraged by them!

The second bronchoscopy was completed this morning. In the words of Dr. Engetti, “your dad did phenomenal with the procedure”. They were able to get lots of tissue this time and did pull some “abnormal cells”. That is all they would tell us today, that they are “abnormal”. They told us pathology would read them and give us results later this week. So, yes, we are still waiting on the lung biopsy, but as of now, dad is finished with procedures and his body can rest. He was quite groggy today after the procedure and just wanted to rest. He was pretty heavily sedated at his request (and who blames him!) Physical therapy has been ordered to get him up and walking. So now, we wait and see.

We too are catching a bit of rest for now.
Have a great evening!
The Family

From Journey into the Whirlwind-about a russian woman who was imprisoned for 13 years (6 in solitary) simply for being a teacher was asked what was the worst part. She said NOT the years imprisoned but the 3 weeks of WAITING prior to her arrest. The uncertainty and anxiety that she and her family felt as they awaited the unknown was torture. Daddy I am so proud of you for waiting so bravely. I know it is not easy when we are sick. I love you. b

I am so thankful to hear the testing went so well today; and that you did exceedingly well also.
Have a peaceful and restful night.
You remain in my prayers
Love and God's Blessings to all,
Kathy

Harry, you have been in my thoughts and prayers since this ordeal started. It has been awesome to have this blogspot to get current status reports, which seem to be getting more encouraging each day. It sounds like you have been quite a positive influence with the staff and that is no surprise. I hope you are able to go home for Thanksgiving even if you needed to return immediately afterward. Even though I'm not much of a sports nut, I will root for TN whenever they play because I know if they win, you'll be happy and that'll probably help speed up your recovery. Brian B.

Harry,Saw Franklin today and he told me the news. I told him I hadn't seen you in a couple of weeks at the y and he told me that was why. I was stunned. I've known your family for a long long time and when I heard this, I was just stunned. After reading all of the info, I can only say that God is at work in your life. It seems you have come a long ways and hopefully it will keep getting better. You are in good hands with your family. We will be thinking about you and will be praying for you Harry. I told Franklin that I will be checking in for updates. If there is anything I can help with, please don't hesitate to let me know.
