The test this morning verified there is a tumor blocking the upper lobe of the left lung. With the placement of the tumor it appears to be inoperable. A biopsy was done and we will not know the results for 1 to 2 days. At this time the only word we have is it appears the treatment will be radiation and chemo. They are still very concerned about his blood clots and the doctors are trying to make the best decision regarding blood thinners. Of course this is not the news we had hoped for but we are hoping for the best treatment available. As of today dad would just like family here, he may be ready for visitors in a few days. Thank you for all your concerns he loves reading the comments.

Tell Harry our prayers are with him and to hang in there. I just got back and checked my e-mail and was shocked to learned about him. If it is OK I will stop by and see him.
Barb, Sue and I would welcome you or any of your family to stay or use our home in Chattanooga. You can sleep over or freshen up anytime you like. It is only minutes away from the hospital at Amnicola and 153. Jake

Hi Harry, I read the blogs; what a wonderful and strong support group you have. I am thankful to be a part of your group.
I will just keep on praying for your recovery and for the medical staff in charge of you.
Well, you know you had a bad day at work when you back out of your parking stall and try shutting your garage door! Had to laugh at myself over that one.
Have a restful night.
My Love and prayers to all,
Kathy

Harry,
You've been on my mind and in my prayers. It must be comforting to be surrounded by a loving and caring family. Franklin thinks the world of you and I'm sure his sisters do too. I am looking forward to visiting with you soon.

Sincerely,
Derrick

Papa, I was playing roller hockey earlier with the recycle bin as my goal and the pups went missing; trolling; I chased them down on my blades. I love and miss you, Nicky p.s. tell paul thanks for fixing my scooter; it helps me get around; oh yeah, mom says to tell you that the pups also "think" there is a RAT under the hot tub so they are again going nuts!!!! they tore off the cover

Beth,

I tried blogging your dad re the e-mail address you gave me, but was unsuccessful. But perhaps you can relay this to your dad. Tell him that I'm the little short black lady who always made him and your mom laugh! :>) who is consistently praying for him. Also tell him that it's not over until GOD says it's over - and the battle is not ours but the LORD's! Just keep his eyes stayed upon him. The more positive side of that is that GOD has truly blessed us ALL to see another day for we are to TREASURE each day!
Furthermore, I'm looking forward to seeing him again soon so I can make him laugh and see that nice smile of his. Your dad always had a nice smile and an humble spirit which was always so inspiring to me. HANG IN THERE - LOTs of Folks are praying for you.

Will be in touch again soon.

Continoussly amazed by His grace and new mercies...

Love ya!
